Crown Group has inaugurated a new Crown Charge Pro smart charging station at the Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSB), marking another strong step toward enhancing Karachi’s electric mobility infrastructure. The event was attended by Mayor Karachi, Mr. Murtaza Wahab, who appreciated Crown Group’s ongoing efforts in promoting clean and sustainable transportation across the city.
During the visit, Mayor Murtaza Wahab highlighted the city administration’s continuous work to encourage green energy and eco-friendly commuting. He mentioned that this journey began earlier when KMC riders were provided with electric bikes to introduce environment-friendly transport within government departments. To support those electric bikes, the First Crown Charge Pro charging station was installed at KMC.
Building on the same initiative, electric bikes are now being provided to KWSC employees as well. With the introduction of electric bikes, reliable charging access becomes essential, this is why a new Crown Charge Pro smart charging station has now been installed at KWSC. He also shared that the city will continue exploring more locations to expand EV charging access across Karachi.
The newly installed station includes a dedicated electric bike charging unit, an electric auto charging unit, and an electric car charging unit, ensuring that various EV users have access to reliable and efficient charging facilities. This setup demonstrates how Charge Pro supports different segments of electric mobility through accessible and smart infrastructure.
